Our Ministries

Ministry for the Whole Family

We strive to be a church that brings glory to God through worship, discipleship and fellowship. We are thoroughly committed to the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20). Our many ministries to families reflect this commitment.

Ministry relationships begin when we discover who we are in Christ and how God has uniquely gifted and called each of us to be a part of a local church. Here at South Hill Bible Church, we encourage everyone to attend our four-part Discovery Sunday School classes, designed to help members and regular attenders alike to begin this discovery process. In this series, we cover the following topics:

Spiritual Gifts
Evangelism and Missions

Regular church attendance and participation in ministry is vital to a healthy and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We trust that some of the weekly opportunities described here will encourage and motivate you to come and fellowship with us. From children to adults, young-marrieds to senior saints, there's something for just about everyone at South Hill Bible Church.

Prayer Opportunities

Sunday mornings at 10:00–10:45 a.m. in the pastor's office

Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m., first Sunday of each month, in the Sanctuary

Men's Prayer Meeting

Tuesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the Library

Women's Prayer Meeting

Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the Library
