Children's Ministries

The heart cry of this ministry is found in Palms 78:1-8:

“Give ear, O my people, to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children; that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; and may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God.” (NKJV)

The aim of this ministry is to develop disciples of Christ who are seekers of God’s truth and a biblical worldview. We have a team of dedicated volunteers who serve on a weekly or monthly basis. The curriculum we are currently teaching from is Children Desiring God written by Sally Michael. Some of the exciting titles include, “I Stand in Awe,” “He Established a Testimony,” “Jesus, What a Savior!”

Nursery

The nursery provides wonderful care from loving volunteers for our littlest ones. Our nursery is offered during our 8am and 11am services, as well as the Sunday School hour. This ministry welcomes ages 0-24 months.

Toddlers’ Church (2- and 3-year-olds)

This is a ministry provided for your busy 2 or 3 year old! It is offered for the entirety of both our 8am and 11am worship services. Our volunteers look forward to serving your child with a lightly structured bible time, snack, and lots of play time!

Children’s church (4 years–3 grade)

We offer a special time for kids 4 years old through 3rd grade during both our 8am and 11am services. The kids are dismissed during the service and are welcome to come join us at that time. Children’s church is a structured ministry that includes a biblical teaching, workbook time, fun activities, singing, and prayer. Our children’s church volunteers look forward to getting to know and spending time with your kids!

Sunday School (2 years–6th grade)

We offer Sunday school classes for pre-K all the way through 6th grade during our 9:45am Sunday school hour. We prioritize the teaching of God’s word…even to the littlest ones!
